WATER and POPULATION GROWTH

Water is a commodity that is connected to food, health and hygiene. Over the years the water is playing a hide and seek game and as usual the vulnerable peoples and communities around the world  face the brunt- floods or drought.

The demand of water is not going to diminish but definitely the demand is going to grow. Are we in a position to manufacture water that is potable for the whole world? If it is not from natural sources, don't we require energy to convert saline water to drinkable or for recycling or for bringing out to the surface sinking deep bore wells.

So far no major conflict  has erupted among the nations. Localized problems  are there. But in future the wars would be fought over sharing of waters.  A single remedy for all the problems is going for massive population control. The U.N and the other nations that have voice in the international community have to address this 'human menace'. If this serious ailment is not addressed the sick world is soon to be shifted to ICU.
