Buildings that threaten the skies.

Today large spaces are available only in space. Also people quite often talk of mental/personal space and their non-availability. The space crunch is so much that the buildings threaten the stars in the skies with their monstrous heights. The monstrous growth of wealth is spoiling the health of the earth. I don't think in nations blessed with desert there is a necessity to grow vertical. The man has to grow tall in generosity, kindness, love  and compassion and not his buildings which will swallow much power, cement, steel during its construction and much energy till the  building has life. Growth can't be seen in concrete structures and vehicles of steel and speed. Growth has to be seen in peace. Guns should not talk but the pens. Blood should not spill but ink. Material wealth leads to sickness. Show not your richness when the poor are dying for a morsel of food.

The world's tallest man-made structure is the 829.8 m (2,722 ft) tall Burj Khalifa in Dubai,United Arab Emirates. The building gained the official title of "Tallest Building in the World" at its opening on January 4, 2010.
