Power from terrace - The Hindu
In our search for alternate sources of energy we can't leave the wind behind. Yes the wind is truant and an unreliable friend. Also there are some consequences such as damage to the birds and problems are faced by other winged creatures including honey bees. Also the land costs go up and the lands mostly remain underutilized causing shortfall of food grains. Also it takes away the employment opportunity for the rural laborers. In spite of all these power gives us power. That too clean power. We can eat the cake and have it too. We gain without much pain (pollution). Here is an article from the Hindu.
