When are we going to breathe peace?

Pakistan army kills scores of insurgents in latest raid on Taliban

Innocence at the altar of ignorance,
Violence seen as  the best weapon of peace,
Darkness engulfing day light,
Anger displayed  and misplaced;
Pens proving to be meek before guns,
Books and notes soaked in pain,
Love surrendering to the howls of hatred,
Rivers of blood displacing waters;
The shoulders that carried school bags
Returning to homes as body bags,
Kids expected to be in study rooms
Bathed in bloody rooms;
All in the search of truth,
Traveling  on the vehicles of  falsehood
And roads of violence with loads of hatred
Preaching peace and breaching peace!

When are we going to breathe peace?
