Water woes

Water is life. There are still people who are with benevolent hearts establishing water dispensing units and serving people. The scene found here is in Mysore, South India. Millions of  inns and night shelters were dotting India just 60 years ago. People could  travel from Southern tip of the land to the North on foot without spending any money. Today water is being sold. A liter of water is Rupees 20-40. Now copious rains are pouring. If we have not destroyed our water bodies or if we had cared to create a few hundreds every year we won't face any problem. The responsibility of preserving all the natural resources is more for India as we have got a population of  around 1300000000 only and on the way to occupy the No.1.spot at the earliest. As there is no one in this land to talk about this population explosion that threaten this earth's resources at least a few can raise his voice to urgently address this vital issue. Indian Railways carry around 23 million passengers a day and the entire population of Brunei is 3,99,000.

Seven apples come down to the earth mean and one goes into the mouth of an Indian. The same is the story with every food item, shelter and dress. Conservation and  preservation of this earth is the responsibility of our nation.

Still  time is there to care. But if not now, when?
