The Soul of Mahatma- a collection of thoughts from his works.

  • Renunciation of objects, without the renunciation of desires, is short lived, however hard you may try.
  • Nothing is impossible for pure love.
  • God ultimately saves him whose motive is pure.
  • Physical training should have as much place in the curriculum as mental training.
  • A man of truth must also be a man of care.
  • And he who would be friends with God must remain alone, or make the whole world his friend.
  • There could not be a cleansing without a clean confession-the purest type of repentance.
  • Morality is the basis of things and that truth is the substance of all morality.
  • God could be realized only through service.
  • Even differences prove helpful, where there are tolerance, charity and truth.
  • Beauty lies in its simplicity.
  • What barrier is there that love can not break?
  • We win justice quickest by rendering justice to the other party.
